I periodically look at the charts of stocks in my portfolio and the BOQ chart is quite interesting at the moment.
Two things of interest in this chart:
1. We have clearly and quite strongly broken the downtrend that has been evidenced since October 2021; and
2. Coupled with that break in downtrend is a divergence between the two most recent lows on the price chart vs the MACD. On the price chart we saw a low in June 2023 then a LOWER low in October 2023, but on the MACD the low in October 2023 is HIGHER than its low coinciding with the June 2023 price low.
This suggests to me that we are seeing a clear medium-term trend change in BOQ. First step is to bust through the $7.00 resistance that has been in evidence since July.
