Pat and George really stuffed this one up - BOQ around 2018 was probably a $10-11 per share bank at the time (at the market average P/E for regional banks then) after ME bank acquisition, ASIC/AUSTRAC issues and the capital raise for the IT turnaround w would be lucky to be valued at $8 (if it ever happens). I feel Pat's attitude right now is that BOQ was already stuffed up before he came in, but it's clear as day they overpaid for ME bank and the IT turnaround is taking way too long and way too much money without delivering much in the way of cost savings - cost to income is among the worst of any bank and EPS has declined since 2018
