A good point you raise @aubin, what will happen when supply and pricing is removed from their control, they will fight for market share, they have positioned themselves to protect this by ramping up production capabilities. They are the lowest cost producer and this will not change, to maintain their position as market leaders they will weaponize pricing as a hurdle for other producers.
There will be niobium demand from others choosing an alternative supplier, Europe seems to be the logical choice, however Europe is a small market within the constrained Niobium market place.
The key question is how much is a realistic market share for non CBMM niobium, how much can WA1 hope to achieve and will they have to share this with the neighbors?
