wow, first post moderated as being off topic? It was a picture of our favourite supporter croc strapped to a WA1 rocket. Not sure how that is off topic - quite relevant for the only troll that I don't have on ignore. These moderators really are going through the WA1 thread with a fine tooth comb.

Anyway, interesting article in the AFR today. I won't post the whole thing but in short you can see where a whole new market of future demand for niobium will come from. Robotics and the need for better batteries, particularly for military applications. Oh and not to mention niobium's existing application to weapon systems, missiles, machine gun barrels and the like due to it's unique properties. The article quotes a retired US army general stating that one third of the US military could be robotic within the next 10-15 years. And that's probably another good reason why niobium is a critical mineral.
