As of this morning there were 39 companies in the ASX300 with a market cap of under $1B, so it's pretty much a certainty we go into the ASX300 come September.
Given Regal's form to make money no matter what, the smart play for them is to gain enough shares for all the 'players' that have index funds, come the 3rd Friday in September, to sell at a decent profit.
The appropriate game plan would be to see the share price up towards the top of the range or at a new high by then, sell around the top including extra over the following month or so before reloading for the ASX 200 play in December.
In the ASX200 there are 17 companies with a Mcap of under $2B with quite a few around the $1.7B Mcap range as of this morning. At just $28/sh WA1 would be at a Mcap of over $1.8B.
Perhaps the best game plan for Regal is to buy as many as possible in the next few weeks, pushing up the SP in the process for a profit event entering the ASX300 in September, then repurchasing those shares a bit cheaper over the following month, to again push the SP up over $28 by December and have another good pay day as we enter the ASX200 by then.
Of course by early next year they will again be hungry for a cap raise so they can stock up on cheaper shares than they sell in December 24, while the company does it's next cap raise at ~$25 next year and gets plenty more funds for planning/initial development of the mine...
Getting tired of the down rampers that don't have a clue to either TA or FA, they waste so much space. On FA a small 1.5Mt/a plant would produce somewhere around $600-700M in cashflow and given expansion possibilities, a high earnings multiple, has to be worth $8-10B or over $100/sh even with a further 15M-20M shares, which is way beyond what would be needed..
A 1.5Mt/a plant would not even absorb half of the growth in ferroniobium use between now and 2029, so CBMM would have expanded sales anyway. This is without any battery use increase, which we all know is coming, just from CBMM's commitment to it...
Talk about no-brainers, those talking down the stock fit the bill, while those holding for any length of time have done exceptionally well and should do very well over the next few years.
