The games being played and chart manipulation as well, are really sophisticated. This mornings trading, after the bots took out the few sells at around $16 and just above, quickly reversed back down. At 10.22 this morning there was a minute bar showing a large sell in that minute, but in the course of sales, you can see that at 10.21.01 there was a 'real' sell of 7,994 shares, but at 10.21.02, as in 1 second later there was a buy of 11,775 shares (the buy or sell depending upon the immediately prior price print). The rest of the minute looks like bot to bot.

The prior minute's last trade at 10.20.51 was at $15.915 with the next 40 'trades' in the 10.21-2 time slot taking 2 seconds, pushing the price down to $15.80, where the 2 large orders traded, then back up to $15.87 as the last trade in that minute, but of course being a 'red' bar because the last trade was below the prior minute's close.

So the bot bought ~25,000 shares in total, it looks like one real order of a sale of ~25,000 shares at ~$15.80, but made the minute look 'red' as well as if it was selling pressure. (25.3k shares at $15.80 =$400k).

The bot probably had the fill for the day by then, so could trade with itself all the way back down below yesterday's close, to hopefully panic a few more sellers for tomorrow, assuming no announcement..

On days like today it looks like only a quarter of the trades are 'real' with the rest being bots doing whatever they want to do with price.
