I was trying to estimate production costs for FeNb based on a 4.15% grade to achieve 10,000 tons per annum of FeNb. However, after considering the small scale of the plant, I've decided to drop the idea. It seems impractical to haul just 53 tons per hour to a crusher that can handle up to 75 tons per hour. Having previously worked with crushers capable of processing 10,000 tons per hour, this setup feels almost comical by comparison.
Decided to share the progress I made instead of just scrapping it. The main points of concern for me were the raw material costs, trucking expenses, and energy requirements in the smelting process which came in at AUD$3056, which is only 6.74% of the sale price. I am personally hoping that WA1 could produce a ton of FeNb for around $15,000. Lets say 33% is labour costs, that leaves Mining, Crushing/Milling, Flotation, Admin, Concentrate Drying and Shipping around $7000 to work with per ton of FeNb.
And Wulrich, feel free to comment, let me know my mistakes so I can fix them.
