It would make sense for a high grade starter pit be identified to ensure early and profitable production.
The nature of the Luni resource indicated by announced drilling suggests that a block of high grade ore of significant tonnage is problematical in that in many instances the high grade hits are irregular and sometimes overlain with low grade ore and situated at more than optimum depths.
The current drilling may or may not identify a block of high grade ore to start production.
Normally good news comes fast, not quite sure what is happening, time will tell.
Met results should be due but if they are not specific to the likely composition of the ore identified in a starter pit they will be rather meaningless in a planning sense.
