Is anyone here following the political situation in Brazil?
A Supreme Court Judge has ordered X to take down accounts, and also forbid X from revealing which accounts were blocked, of people they view as far right (the Lula government is a socialist left wing government). Musk refused.
The Judge then opened an inquiry in to Musk on the grounds of "obstruction of justice"
Musk responded by giving investigative journalists access to X's internal records which included two years of legal records between the X legal team and the Brazilian government. It was published under the Twitter files
Today Musk has announced that they must close the office in Brazil immediately and when the staff are safe publish everything connected to the government, which has extremely close links to China. Things are becoming increasingly shaky by the day, and that has to mean the US government is watching the situation very closely. We'll have to wait and see what unfolds
