There was definitely rebalancing happening. But it's obvious to me that there was a buyer in there determined to buy up everything being cleared out. Rebalancing isn't done with a massive bid moved 5 times in a minute to try and get a bid that size filled in a stock this tightly held. Thats just called buying.
