I was a stockbroker in NZ for a number of years.

This how I think it's playing out;

1. Each announcement gives big boys more confidence to enter registry. They add to the initial investment as they build more confidence. This manages their average cost.

2. They know exactly the potential here and want a slice of the action. They know the low SOI means they have to contort the daily market price in order to achieve over time a meaningful investment.

3. They know certain other big players are constrained from purchasing at the present time and time is running out.

4. internal research teams will be acutely aware what the MC will unfold - particularly over the remainder of this year and 2025.

Hence we watch the day to day gyrations. Those individual shareholders who cannot stomach the heat in the kitchen capitulate.
