Only 8k gross shorts yesterday, while ASIC report still shows only a total of 134k in total short interest after Wednesday of last week, despite the daily gross shorts being in the 30k-50k range last week.
Obviously same player still active and have this window between now and MRE/EOFY to play. There are probably also some profit takers balancing their books for EOFY against 'other' losses, which also works ot advantage of shorting/covering action.
