ALL niobium prices are set form ferro-niobium metal, representing 90-odd % of the niobium market, and it CBMM (90% of the market) say the price is $45/kg then it's $45/kg. If CBMM's Fe-Nb is 65% Nb, that is the bench mark and price a 60% or 70% Fe-Nb from it pro-rata. NbO5 will probably receive a premium pro-rata because it costs more to produce than Fe-Nb, likewise Nb-metal will cost more per Kn than pro-rata Nb in FeNb because the extra cost to produce pure Nb metal.

I think your linked post is ass about, making erroneous correlations to the 'value' of Fe in FeNb when it is simply the cheapest way to refine niobium concentrate into a product the steel guys can use. The above funds reference to 100% niobium being 1.5x the price of FeNb was simple maths, not literally saying Nb-metal at 100% can be bought for 1.5x the price of FeNb... it was just a pro-rata extrapolation imo.

    Personally not bothered, good luck.
