I went through the Nb market, likely Luni production and capex, opex scenarios with my usual devil's advocate attitude and arguments with posters. Even in the middle of nowhere the economics stacked up, just so long as CBMM was happy to hold the price high and take a sales-hit as the dominant (monopolistic) niobium swing producer. CBMM sets the market price like Saudis set the oil price, but common sense says they can't afford to let multiple large new producers enter or their sales and profits will plummet. Good luck getting development funding if you aren't right near the bottom of the Nb cost curve...
