OzBlue - there's a lot of confusion and ambiguity about ferroniobium pricing. Because the Nb content of FeNb can vary between suppliers (e.g. CBMM's FeNb supply is often described as 66% Nb, whereas Minsur/Taboca say their supply from from the Pitinga mine is typically 55% Nb), and presumably between batches, in my opinion the price should always be quoted in units of contained niobium (e.g. US$/kg.Nb).
The Edison graph you show is a particularly poor piece of work. Below is a screen shot of the graph, and the text immediately above it, from the reference you supplied. I have underlined in red two conflicting descriptions of price, the first being per "kg contained Nb" and the second per "kg".
I posted quite a lot on this back in Aug 23 (e.g. https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/69106097/single). I have noticed the continual confusion by some posters ever since. The confusion and ambiguity persists and probably always will - it probably should be considered a normal part of the niobium space. I'm 100% sure that a reasonable current price for FeNb is about US$45 per kg of contained Nb (or US$45/kg Nb for short).
