The bot suddenly got scared. I was watching as it pushed the price down to $17.79, then the sell lines above started to fill in with bigger numbers, giving the impression of people panicking to sell. Then there was a buy of around 1800 shares that wiped $17.80- $17.83 and the shares for sale above there instantly went very thin, back to the 25 shares on each level.

Then the buying stopped, the bot pushed the SP back down and started to increase the numbers in each sell level above. As I have no intention of selling it's a fun game to watch.

I'm pretty sure they are mostly buying and selling to themselves with the occasional 'other' buy or sell. For me today is the usual pattern, initially take anything on the sell side a bit higher up in the first hour or so, selling some at the 'designated' high price, fill in all the 'buy' levels below current action, then drive the price down in a random way, to make sure support levels 'seem' to hold, then drive the price down further, until they meet actual resistance from 'other' buyers. Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat.

I will not be surprised if 'they' try to take us down to the $15 ish level over the next couple of weeks while there is no news. Since being down at $9.27, just 60 trading days ago, 'they' sent the SP up for about 20 days, then back down for 20 days, then back up for 20 days (trading days). That little pattern seems finished, so a period of 'down' seems in order for the bot.

Of course news or some announcement of something else, will change the game for 'them' and a new pattern of up, down, up will emerge.

They have to shake shares out of retail holders some how, and moving the SP up over the last few weeks hasn't done much, so maybe down will work, unless they run into too many buyers..
