We get downrampers on every stock, but it always seems a bit dumb to me on a stock that makes new highs month after month. There is something the downrampers are missing when that happens. I am, and have been a downramper on a few stocks over the years, most are now bust or delisted, because I'm trying to warn anyone looking at them not to take the bullish posts seriously.

Often in junior explorers we have the managements of such companies posting positively on these stocks that are nothing more than lifestyle companies.

I have never put a single person on ignore, though a few have come close, because I never know when that person might say something of relevance on another stock, and once on ignore, are on ignore for everything.
Most of the time I just skip over some useless downrampers posts of one to two lines, knowing there will be nothing worth reading, and just don't bother to engage them. I probably wont be replying to any of @uranium69 posts anymore, I just looked through the shares he/she does hold, mostly in steep downtrends.

Always click on the posters name to check out their posting history - you'll find many that just flit from stock to stock on HC constantly posting negative drivel with no basis whatsoever (JabraD for example). This also gives you the opportunity to see what stocks they DO hold; often complete duds in a screaming downtrend. We also have an increasing number of downrampers who claim to hold no stocks at all, although lying about holdings (e.g. ETFInvestor) seems to be increasingly common on here too. I wouldn't be surprised if several have multiple accounts, as HC don't seem to police this anymore. Anyone making any trading decision based on what they read on HC needs their head read IMHO.
