Nice holding ACE.This is not financial advice but I have similar issues with my SMSF.If you transfer to pension phase by the time shares are <= $25.33 you will be under/at the balance transfer cap of $1.9m.This means any gains realised from then will be tax free.If you wait then the excess value above $1.9m cannot be transferred to pension account and will attract tax at 10% for shares held more than 12 months or 15% for less than 12 months.Being in pension phase has employment implications depending on your age so get advice on this and when in pension phase you must withdraw a minimum % each year.Under 65 its 4% of balance and increases when you are older.
