As has already been described, Degrussa, 3 years, Nova about 4 years, Altura about 3 years Pilbara about 3 years, a couple of junior Iron ore mines like FEX only a couple of years.
All in Western Australia, so your theory doesn't hold water for WA, the mining friendly state...
