I find it very comforting listening to John Kaiser particularly during bleak down market days like today. I think he mentioned more than once Rio Tinto's analysis that the world will need 60 Jadar projects -- with100 million tonne plus LCE reserves -- by 2035 to meet EV growth demand.
Then he talks about Toyota's technical breakthrough with developing a solid-state battery where lithium metal replaces graphite on the anode. The benefits of solid-state over a liquid electrolyte is reduction or elimination of battery fires, much higher range and quicker charging. Solid-state means the world needs 100 x 100 million tonne plus LCE projects. That's 100 Patriots or 100 Liontowns. All by 2035. This aint' going to happen clearly, which puts a floor under the lithium price into the future.
Then he says James Bay juniors will turn up more CV5 type projects in the next couple of years. Cosmos is looking like being one of these in my view. GLTAH.
