This article covers off the importance of graphite and discusses a lot of uses for graphite and China's dominance. It starts with the military but then goes into commercial uses. SYR is the only graphite company mentioned. It's quite lengthy and mentions a few uses I wasn't aware about and has a pie chart which lists the main uses of natural and synthetic graphite. Well worth the effort to read. I've saved it for future reference.
