I don't know how you came to that conclusion, "Shorter closing out and the share price is dropping"
I think you will find that the number of shares shorted will actually increase as Shortman is 4 days behind. I believe just yesterday there was nearly 2 million increase in shares shorted. But I would be happy to be wrong, my comment before concerned that companies were returning SYR shares, these shares, they could use for shorting the stock more. So my thinking is that if there is a trend to reduce the number of shares that could be used for shorting and maybe those companies will start to reduce their exposure. That means they may start to buy back the 110 millions that are shorted.
