Someone shorting has an algorithm that allowed them to remain only a couple dozen shares below break even price even with some large late minute buys. It’s the eBay equivalent of snipping. I wish I had those tools at my disposal. It proves the shorters are doing their best to drive the sp down and winning. The short percentage is now over 13%.
We have the sovereign risk now in play, ie a possible collapse of the Mozambique government and or continued political violence with rail, roads and port closures. In addition there is the left of field possibility a new government could nationalise the Balama mine (it is Africa and this shit happens). SYR is going to have the toughest two months it has yet faced. We desperately need things to settle in country and we need an announcement to show some major purchase orders for Bahama and Vidalia. Without that the shorters are going to drive this to new lows even with our US loan. I have depressed myself.
