China's dominance didn't help SYR but it seems to me they took advantage of SYR's initial ramp up at what must have been pretty sharp prices - they explained that. It was to help break into the market which was a fairly closed shop to stimulate demand and get their product out there. Not an uncommon practice.

their forecasts for Vidalia keep blowing out every 1/4, according to the last quarterly Vidalia should be up and running?? -not newsworthy??
If you look at the last drone footage of Vidalia on their website, the plant is 99.95% physical complete. They said in the last quarterly their pipe supplier in Oklahoma was flooded and they were missing pipe. Do you really need another announcement to tell you what the delay is? If it isn't completed by 31 Jan, they have to tell us in the quarterly. It's what quarterlies are for. >85% of these type of projects always have delays for one reason or another.

At least they could have communicated the anode supply issues in the market prior to April 2023 - Nobody knew apart from the Chinese. Benchmark and Fastmarkets where saying it was inventory levels. We later found out it was the anode mix. I suppose you could argue in the first qtr it was inventory levels considering they were putting bugger all natural AAM into the batteries.
