My understanding of a declaration of Force Majeure is that by MUTUAL agreement - contractual obligations are suspended until such time as the causation “event” has ceased.
I think many are misinterpreting it as a “foreseeable” loan default - which is quite a different thing and triggers a different set of covenants.
