Great article. Unfortunately I do not think halting the violence or restoring the peace is up to him or he would have done it by now. The perception (I am being kind) is he rigged the election. Nothing short of transfer of power will stop opposition anger. At least he recognizes the importance of international business. However to date he has not had the capability to overcome blocking of roads and ports etc. There is no reason to assume that will change.
