From memory - prior to Force Majeure, in December 2024 - Syrah had an on site stockpiled inventory of c. 2000 metric tonnes ready to ship (grades unspecified).
So when Force Majeure is lifted this could be shipped immediately…
The longer we’re in FM the better IMO as demand globally for Ex China graphite grows combined with A friendly loan repayment “holiday” from A supportive USA (“if you want to be rewarded, build it in America” Vice President J.D.Vance…).
The other side is - Balama has been in FM but Vidalia hasn’t - enabling production of limited runs from it’s stored inventory to supply qualification material to potential offtake partners (eg Lucid) and/or JV suitors.
