What many of the “Lithium bros” don’t factor in is that there are dozens of new Lithium supplies coming online ex-China in the near future but NO new sources of Natural Graphite Ex-China.
So - you can have an IRA compliant Cathode but more than likely not the Anode (as per the infographic..).
I can see a situation where Graphite supply ex-China will be the limiting factor, forcing up demand - creating a rebound in Graphite prices whilst there is a glut of Lithium resulting in long term soft pricing for Lithium…
