No need to tear anyone apart and always good to hear voices of caution as long as they are fact-founded. That said, I do not think your arguments are convincing and will not be decisive for Syrah‘s future. The main unknown IMO is the strong control that China has on this market and whether western markets will muster the resolve necessary to break that monopoly. China has depressed graphite prices by building huge synth overcapacities and, more lately, by decreeing export licenses for chinese manufacturers which in turn have crippled global graphite demand. A perfect storm. No one knows, what will come next ex China, attempting to doom western attempts to reduce their dependance. A really broad moat built with Chinese government money that won‘t be easy - nor cheap - to cross. If successful, though, the rewards will be high. If not - bancruptcy looms. Place your bets.
