Synergies is all good and well, but as the Money of Mine gang pointed out before the merger, there were substantial merger costs locked into the deal (as in well over a $100m). I would suggest its gonna take a while to recover those in the first instance before we can see true bottom line synergy benefits. Some of us warned of the merger, but its all spilt milk now... though can't deny lit price has obviously dropped dramatically - which will recover...
