Apologies if this has already been discussed.
In regards to the ATO Class Ruling (see link below) for Allkem Limited – scrip for scrip roll-over, am I understanding this correctly:
- As it was scrip for scrip, no CGT event was recorded?
- To determine the date to use for when you acquired the shares/CDI’s to receive a discounted capital gain, you use the date you acquired your original Allkem shares?
