Re brakes:
It is well-known that the regenerative braking of EVs means FAR less wear and tear on brakes compared to an ICE vehicle.
Drive a Tesla etc and you will immediately notice the “one pedal” driving and dramatically less use of the brakes.
Google will be full of examples and “data” from EV owners discussing this very “feature”.
I thought the comment in that article about more wear and tear on brakes and tyres meaning more pollution was hilarious!
