Ps. That means that in 2023 about 80% x 87% of lithium was used in EV batteries:
0.8 x 0.87 = 0.696 = 70%
…and around 20% x 87% of lithium was used in batteries for stationary storage and consumer electronics:
0.2 x 0.87 = 0.174 = 17%
Will be interesting to watch these figures evolve in the coming 5-10 years, and to see how the actual numbers compare to the various forecasts!
