I think the lithium metal price has hit the floor, thus the SP of the lithium producers follow, how long the li price / SP of major producers stay at this level depending on few keys factors :
1) How soon the Chinese pull the pin on their lithium extraction from lepo operation.
2) Actual rate uptake of EV in the short term (I think the popularity of hybric promote by some has some effect of EV sales)
3) Interest rate movement and general health of global economy, esp the Chinese economy
4) Geopolitical stability
5) Market manipulation of Chinese lithium players and restocking activities

Spod. price has drop just below US $1,000, that means carbonate / hydroxide can be produced below US $15,000, that also mean the end of lithium extraction from lepo operation from Chinese, how long they will stay in business remain to be seen, and how much tonnage of production will be lost in the short term remain unclear. )
