So, where does that leave LTM??
I know it's been said before, but this newly minted large lithium entity is ripe for a TO. And, now is the time that a player from outside the industry can strike and pick up a potential top 3 producer for a good price. Possible candidates are: RIO or WES from Australia, a couple of South Korean or Japanese players or possibly a European-based chemical behemoth.
A bid from any of these entities would shake up the industry but also would likely succeed as there are so many holders just wanting to get out at any cost.
Arcadium as we know it won't be around in 18 months time IMO.
I am not willing to punt on that outcome just yet, but if the share price keeps dropping then it may be a hail Mary play that should be considered.
