China has an oversupply of EVs as their economy is experiencing a serious pullback with collapse of developers. Europe and US don’t want to destroy their car industries by taking cheap Chinese vehicles. This has a knock on effect. But it can’t last. China wants to sell cars in a more lucrative marketplace but will sell them wherever when it has to. China might slow with the car production for a minute while it figures out where and how to sell them but it will pick up again very shortly. It’s all a good story as well to tank the lithium market again. It’s a small market, so easier to do.
The story has not changed that dramatically from 3 months ago, but a change is as good as a holiday…from sanity in this case.
