Not trying to get too political here but apparently Argentina just achieved its first mothly fiscal surplus in 12 years. With high inflation your taxes as a percentage of purchases, company gains etc. should increase automatically and if you just don't spend that much more then the budget can be balanced. Around the election Milei said that there was a lot of "suppressed" inflation e.g. some prices were restricted by government laws. So once the laws are removed the prices will increase again. So balancing the budget is not enough. Argentina must regain confidence in its currency or operate with an alternative currency. Foreign companies operating and selling stuff in Argentina would want to be paid in a stable currency.
