Hydrogen vs EV.
Interesting snippet on the ABC last night briefly discussing the option.
Scene1. Truckie complaning that if he used an EV rather than hydrogen he'd have his truck off the road for 8 hours. (Presumably using his phone charger to charge his vehicle).
Scene 2. At the Hydrogen service station where a kind attendant explains how his tank will be full in just over 1 minute. (Take that EV's!)
Scene 3. Energy expert points out that you need electricity to generate Hydrogen. Cheap electricity. Point outs that cheap electricity may mean cheaper hydrogen production BUT also cheaper electricity for running an EV. (Checkmate).

Unless we get another LNP government and one of their muppet MP's starts spruiking the idea that the way to environmentally sustainable energy is to burn coal - sorry "clean" coal- to power hydrogen production - I'd say EV's are safe for few years yet.
