AM is interesting in general yes.

But lets be real, the direct competitive sphere for TTT is other cold spray companies such as Spee3d, or maybe Friction stir welders.

TTT's real value comes from adding to already existing manufacturing processes or processing items that have already been manufactured.

A3D uses PBF printers which are notoriously slow, which I can only assume is why 3DA dropped the printer strategy and focused on making powder

PBF needs a significant boost in output to be seen as a serious option to replace a supply chain, I somehow doubt A3D have found the secret sauce here as even faster methods such as Wire arc AM or Binder jetting still struggle against 'traditional' methods when the number of repetitive parts produced becomes high.

The best A3D can hope for is printing High value, High Quality products at slower speeds which is exactly where all the competition is.

But that's just my speculative 2c i'm no expert on AM
