My hope is that there is still a possibility as you say, there may have been some further development to do what needs to be done for both companies to move forward and advance the technology.

I think for both entities, that would be ideal.

The problem often is: Once lawyers get their meaty hooks on the corporate purser, you need a blowtorch to remove them. At least in the US, torte reform is needed as it sucks capital out of our economy for so much frivolity. Leaching ambulance chasers many of them.
