I was having a further look at Mongolian Mining Corp as a proxy for AKN. They have a market cap of approx $2b aud or 10b hkd.


They sold 4.9 mt of coal products of which 2.8 was hcc in the 6 months to june 23 and generated $527m usd in revenue.

On the 2.8mt of hcc they had a realized price of $161 a ton or $450m of their revenue. they other 2.1mt of coal products only generated $66m! This seems like a large premium for the hcc to the sscc and other products which by my calcs are sold at about $33t across the two (seems wrong).

If we assumed that we could get a least $161/t for that period and a yearly saleable t of 4mt when at nameplate, we would generate $644m a year in revenue or $1b aud at the prevailing prices at the time. GLTAH.
