@Gartenfan Thankyou for posting a list of all the salaries paid by EUR and the translation from local media in Kärnten.
I would like to point out to English-speakers that the word 'route' in German denotes a road capable of carrying the heavy transport vehicles needed in mining. Going by the pictures I have seen of the various mine entrances, most of those roads would need upgrading.
and I got to musing on the difficult jobs I had most of my life, and some of the difficult bosses I dealt with: all for a miserly salary; and a momentary regret and envy briefly overcame me: Why didn't I get a job paying an easy $300.000 per year, where all I had to do, is don a safety helmet every so often for a photo opportunity and pronounce 'hope' that all will be happening and well next year-
what are these people doing on a day-to-day basis, to earn such salaries? and if nothing ever comes of the companies they are involved with, they'll move on to the next 'miner' and their 'experience' is touted as 'extensive across many areas' etc. etc.?
Beware before you invest your hard-earned in a miner!
