Folks I'm not sure why people are taking so long to see why this is insanely bullish for EUR.
Yeah sure the share price of CRML was $9 and now $5.75 - that is totally irrelevant in the scheme of things. Equally it could have been $15 on Feb 27th and then 80c on Feb 28th when the lock-out period ends. The volume of shares available to trade is very small until the end of the lockout period. For EUR to sel any meaningful volume thereafter it would have undoubtedly crashed the price.
Now someone has pumped in a substantial amount of cash into CRML at $5 - effectively paying 32c per share for EUR minus all the the Ukraine and Irish assets etc.
For EUR to remain under 30c on the ASX now is a screaming valuation gap, which has to and will close one way or another.
This transaction means that it is very unlikely the gap will close by the CRML price dropping, and far more likely that the ASX price of EUR will rise to at least the value of liquid assets or more.
If there had been an ASX announcement that EUR just raised capital at 32c where would the EUR price be today? Yet the CRML announcement is even better than that as it excludes EUR's other assets.
