Definitely he has loaded all bases. Timing has been a bitch. The bottom has fallen out of the lithium market. Ukraine happens before the ink has dried. Covid and the world cup blew up his Glory franchise.
But he has has been scoring goals.
He has sold Wolfsberg. He just has to hang around to get paid. With some of that payment he has gotten Ireland, He helped CLE and that is a winning deal. He has done a deal to get Wolfsberg processed. That is a good deal on 2 fronts. He has also got Tanbreez (7.5%). He also got BMW to do a off-take deal.
On the payment for Wolfsberg, we get a good stake in CRML. He has introduced Tanbreez and done a deal. This has the US government wanting in. He has brought in Green-met and the bitcoin deal.
And yet here in his home town he is battling to raise enough interest to have a tea party. Malcolm being there does not help one iota. In CRML, he has been stabbed in the back by the founders cashing up and out. This was foreseeable in that they are only money men. It was silly to expect them to act differently.
I can see CRML rising on the back of Tanbreez. It needs funding and takeoff deals. But Tanbreez is past any exploration hype and is into pre-production.
Wolfsberg may progress soon but that is pre-production. It may push the needle a little. And we must remember that neither EUR or CRML are miners. The MO is to pretty the project up and on-sell it. The way I see it is that every thing is up for sale. Tony is living out of a suitcase more than not, and has clocked up enough flying miles to have free travel for him and his family for life.
Something must be sold or all of it must be sold and brought home. A dividend may shake the tree but I think that it would only be for a very short time. A buyout would make Tony rich and he could do a Ralph Sarich, invest in property and get some family time.
Definitely it is all a result of Tony at the wheel.
