@hbennett if truth be told, I no longer have a real interest. It became a 'research interest' -
I got intrigued by and in how many ways people like 'a certain director on here' (and he is not the only one!!) can make money on and with the Australian stock market.

My conclusion: - certainly not by 'investing' unless you are very knowledgeable, lucky and cool as a cucumber. I am none of those thing - I now have one small investment in a gold stock, that's all.
In fact a lot of the money to be made is with the actual, ever hopeful, 'trader' - and a certain gent on here recognised that early in his career.
At one stage I held material where he is listed as a director or some other functionary on over 50 companies, none of which exist any more.
I am also a bit of a writer, but if truth be told, I am a little over the mean and shabby ways humans behave and would rather write fairy tales, than facts.

I have also become interested in the fate, hopes, aspirations of some of the 'investors' on here, but mostly to see how 'hope' keeps humans sustained.
Many of the present and former investors on here, only ever hold one stock, in this case EUR! - - - which is a stupid thing to do, but there you are, you are one of them, and I must assume you are a rational human being. I do not read this to rejoice in the various negative reports, or - today - in the miserly 10 actions this stock had in the market, but just marvel at people's ever-lasting hope for the better.

I wish you luck with your lottery ticket. If the Trump train makes it to Greenland, there is a chance that mining will take place, and a certain gentleman will go into the dark night with at least one achievement.
