Macron Travels to Greenland with a Clear Message to Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump's demand to gain control over Greenland has strengthened the ties between Denmark and the kingdom's northernmost territory.

Greenland’s head of government, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, visited Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (Social Democrats) at Marienborg earlier this spring, and she has also traveled to Greenland to signal unity within the Kingdom of Denmark.
