BRP. I enjoy your input. I also agree you regarding the fancy accounting. I hold both EUR and CLE. I can understand the reasoning behind the loans. CLE was far from an ailing company, It was a $10M MC company with $10M assets with ASX listed shares. it just needed to sell the EUR shares it owned. Had the SPAC merger taken place in a more timely manner, then we would not be discussing this as CLE would have sold the EUR shares for 50-70 cents and been cashed up.

EUR shareholders have received two big bonuses from the deal. These will become apparent in due course. The first being that EUR is the top shareholder in CLE at 11+%. The Iron Bear project is on track to make many multiples of EUR's investment. My belief is that this will be far sooner than we can imagine.

The second bonus is a little less tangible. The shares that CLE own in EUR is most likely the only defense to a takeover bid should one be made. Had CLE cashed in 6 months ago, they would have had to sell the total holding. EUR would have been vulnerable to takeover, then which nobody would have done because they could have jeopardized the merger deal. But EUR would have been very vulnerable right now that the deal has been completed.

Although I don't believe that the deal is yet completed as there are most likely some more money on the line. I believe that Tony should be bringing someone like Bacchus Capital and build a takeover defense. This is that now important because now the merger deal is complete,

CLE must start selling down their EUR shares to progress with the Iron Bear project. So I believe something big must happen soon in CLE that will alleviate the need for CLE to sell the EUR shares. What that is I would only be guessing.
