EVs are one thing and I for one can see the demand doesn't look likely to go away. Have a look at real sales. Excess stock doesn't always mean less sales. Rather it might be ramping up production right?
Tony also addresses this in his interview. Lithoum is not only used in EVs.
Demand for its use in everything else has gone bananas.
just about every store you go into has lithium in it.
hardware and jobs items uses alone are huge. Look in the hardware store. Even lawn mowers are going lithium.
home and power storage in general. This is a huge market.
Mobile phones, I think something like 1.17 billion sold last year. All use lithium.
Power tools though, this one has to be huge. Power tool batteries have gone through the roof in cost. Demand for those is not slowing. People have clearly moved away from tools with a cord.
Ceramics and glass, this has an will always be massive. Huge need for it in this sector.
People only need to look around and see for yourself. Lithium doesn't just rely on EVs.
I think it would be good to just walk around and consider this instead of only keeping your heads in your laptops, looking for reasons online to push your fears onto others. Maybe take a step back and look at the laptop itself...that's right no need for a cord...LITHIUM!

Those doubters are listening in the wrong market then. Probably China's orbit because now they're finding it hard to dump their cars outside of China (except Australia go figure).

Try the European gossip corner instead, or here in North America. If you visited the recent conference in Florida, you might just realise what is talk of town, surprise surprise... lithium. I hear LTR was impressing everyone and apparently according to AZL, they attended too.
