Of course, it is in every country's interest to be independent of foreign countries or outside the EU.
In the case of European Lithium/ Critical Metals, however, the question is whether Austria supports a company that is registered in the tax haven of the British Virgin Islands....., i.e. all the profits flow there.... and then the lithium is to be further processed outside the EU in Saudi Arabia ... which speaks against the ecological green footprint.
The fact that you can also do everything in Europe, build a lithium mine and construct a lithium hydroxide plant can be seen in Finland at Keliber.
