US entities are literally signing deals with Chilean entities on lithium supply as we speak, supported by the Feds, Yellen on public record. How is that "self sufficient "? In any case, EUR's market is not America. It's Europe. Quite literally in the company name, so America sucking up future lithium supply based on today's contracts makes EUR business case, lithium supply from Europe for Europe, even more promising. Europe doesn't really have much choice when it comes to its own lithium extraction, hence the sentiment that when it comes to hard rock mining, if Wolfsberg project can't get to production then Europe is stuffed. Eggs on everyone's faces. Hence the other sentiment it's not an "if" but a "when".
